The Sidney E. Frank Foundation seeks to improve the lives of students, families, and the community through opportunities in art, theater, poetry, music, education, environmental conservation, and medical research and care. Through the work of its grantee partners, the Foundation has increased access to higher education, great works of art, live performance broadcasts, and a healthier environment.  

The Foundation celebrates the legacy of its founder Sidney E. Frank, who believed that one person could change the course of history. He found joy in generosity, and in using philanthropy to help the people and institutions that had helped him. It is with the same spirit that the Foundation has created giving initiatives to bring beauty, meaning, knowledge, and understanding to the communities we serve.

Initiatives the Foundation has supported include digitizing great performances of theater and music, supporting arts education in visual art and theater, creating a university library center for digital learning, developing clean energy technology, conserving critical wild landscapes, training new leaders in public school, funding scholarships for first-generation college students, and creating health and nutritional resources for people with celiac disease.
