Poetry Ireland is committed to achieving excellence in the reading, writing and performance of poetry throughout the island of Ireland, and to making poetry more accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. 

In service of this mission to connect poetry and people, Poetry Ireland hosts events, publishes poetry journals, offers educational programming, and provides resources and supports to poets. It also enjoys rewarding partnerships with arts centers, festivals, schools, colleges and cultural organizations at home and abroad. The Adrian Brinkerhoff Poetry Fund of the Sidney E. Frank Foundation is proud to partner with Poetry Ireland in producing poetry films with emerging Irish artists, supporting its Poet in Residence project, and restoring its Georgian townhouse in Dublin's Parnell Square as a Founding Partner.
